Polynesian Cultural Center

Aloha!  The Polynesian Cultural Center covers 42 acres on O'ahu's north shore and provides an opportunity to experience authentic villages from six Pacific Island nations and mingle with the natives as they demonstrate their arts.  After a BBQ Lunch Buffet, we took a canoe ride to the Tongan Village to see a cultural show.  Mid afternoon there was a 'Rainbows of Paradise' show where dozens of Polynesians in traditional costume present an interpretation of 5,000 years of Pacific Island cultural lore in a rousing pageant.  The Polynesian Cultural Center was definetly worth the visit.

Aloha!
Sue.
